Application/Candidate/Citizenship Requirements:

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and members of one or more of AIP's 10 Member Societies at time of application. Qualifications include a PhD in physics or a closely related field by start of fellowship term. In exceptional cases, the PhD requirement may be waived for applicants with equivalent research experience. In general, federal employees are not eligible for the Executive Branch fellowships.
