Application/Candidate/Citizenship Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate special competence
in an area of veterinary medicine; possess a broad
professional background; exhibit an interest in
applying scientific knowledge to solve societal/public
policy programs; be an AVMA member and a U.S. citizen;
be able to show evidence of involvement in local,
specialty, allied, or state veterinary medical associations;
and be able to adeptly analyze, identify, and easily
explain core scientific issues to a variety of audiences.

Please send a letter of intent, a curriculum vitae,
two letters of reference from professional colleagues,
a letter of support from the applicant's local,
state, specialty or allied veterinary medical association,
and a personal statement (not to exceed 750 words)
describing the applicant's qualifications, commitment
to veterinary medicine, and why the fellowship is
desired
