Application/Candidate/Citizenship Requirements:

Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent doctoral-level degree and be a member of one of the sponsoring societies (OSA, MRS, SPIE). Candidates should also have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills as well as a demonstrable interest in public policy.

Two – one jointly sponsored with the Materials Research Society (MRS) and the other jointly sponsored with The International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE)
